Spring 2026 trends are coming through just in time to review what you might be missing in your wardrobe for the change of season. These are my favourite styles and colours I’m seeing come out of recent Euro trends for Spring 2026 in Australia.

For tops, lace trims, crochet detailing and texture are what we are seeing. Tops have gotten interesting; we want detailing and whimsy or fun and texture.

Skirts, the whimsy, lace and texture are spilling into skirts as well, with some matching sets and hero skirts where the top might be more simple and refined, when the skirt offers the creativity in the outfit. Lengths are a mix this season, with midi to maxi skirts plenty with lace and tassel trim detailing and mini skirts in fun pops of colour often with textured or tassel detailing.

Pants are getting fun. Almost pyjama-like styles that are comfortable, striped, balloon-style shapes. Comfort is well and truly driving the spring trends for trousers.

Dress trends, we’re seeing a lean between short and long. With baby doll styles and frill detailing or extended sleeves. Longer midi to maxi dresses come in figure-hugging designs or in an A-line shape.

Jacket styles for Spring are definitely a cropped bomber jacket, relaxed and textured fabric, or coloured and sporty. Blazers are coming in cropped and more tailored, even leaning into some of the military styles.

But the main focus is truly on the fact that we are really embracing colours and textures. Still seeing purples, lilac is leaning into deeper purples and reds remain, which we have seen in the last season. Fresher citrus colours incorporating beautiful yellows and lime green with splashes of orange. Blue, has many shades, baby blue, deep ocean colours and aquamarine are strong. It’s all about having fun with these bright colours.

If colour’s not your vibe, texture needs to be in spring 2026. Pieces are tasselled, beaded, laced, embroidered, or studded. So much detail is going into the pieces, and I’m loving how they can take a simple monochromatic outfit and lift it because of the beautiful texture.

Of course, I can’t forget shoes. Ballet flats, pointed ballets, flip-flops, and heeled flip-flops still have a great place, as well as golden metallics in footwear.

What I Packed for Europe

 Travelling to Europe this 2026 was for me about a refresh of my style. I had in the two months leading up to the trip decided I wanted to remove some of the beige ways I had been dressing and make sure I filled my suitcase with colour and fun that would go on to spark more joy in my everyday dressing. For that reason I kept the wardrobe colourful, textured and also jumped in and purchased some summer styles from brands abroad before I left to make sure I was able to access stock. Often when I arrive the summer stock is nearly sold out and Fall trends are arriving.

Bag and Shoes

I started here because I wanted to make sure if the colours and styles were spot on it would mean the outfits already had something ‘fun’ added to them.

The Chloe summer sandal was an absolute winner, so so comfortable and there is something about a dusty pink that just goes with everything so well. The pop of pink on the platform was the fun addition.

Sezanne yellow shoes, I got these just as they landed online and they may have sold out by now but a pop of yellow brings every outfit up.

Gold sneakers, how fun is a metalic to lift your outfit on big walking days.

Twoobs honestly are such a comfort shoe and work so well for the pool and beach, kids activities and some of the very hot city walks.
